On July 24th, the new league of Path of Exile, Patch 3.29, "Curse of the Allflame," will launch on schedule. The deep-sea sailing theme completely reshapes the progression system, with new exclusive crafting resources and a special league token significantly raising the barrier to currency consumption. Here is a guide to 5 Best League Starter Builds for PoE 3.29: 5 Best League Starter Builds for PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame after the Socket Color Reworked
Many players are simultaneously rushing to complete Patch 3.29 and still deeply engaged in PoE 2 0.5 endgame builds. With the two leagues having independent economic systems running in parallel, manually farming double currency is time-consuming and laborious. POECurrency.com, a website specializing in Path of Exile currency trading for many years, maintains ample stock of in-game currency across different leagues, providing a one-stop solution to resource shortages in both new and old leagues, freeing players from spending excessive time repeatedly grinding.
The core gameplay of this 3.29 Patch revolves around underwater exploration. Players collect sea maps to assemble expedition dungeons, gather Dead Man’s Sulphur as a league-exclusive crafting material, and customize equipment attributes using the new Allflame Crafting Bench. This crafting system offers extremely high freedom, but each equipment reforging consumes a massive amount of league-exclusive resources and base currency.

Meanwhile, the official drop rates have been adjusted, and the currency cost for modifying equipment socket colors and links has significantly increased. From the early game stage, through acquiring transitional equipment and supplementing resistances, to the mid-to-late game crafting legendary equipment and unlocking high-tier voyages, every step requires stable currency support. High-tier voyage dungeons are extremely difficult; without fully developed equipment, it's hard to consistently generate resources, easily trapping new players in a cycle of "currency shortage - inability to clear dungeons - inability to upgrade equipment."
In addition to the general currency, Kishara's Ducat league tokens were added. These can only be obtained through underwater dungeons and sea map rewards and are used to exchange for rare base equipment and special modification items; the drop rate is extremely low. Many players spend all day AFK farming underwater dungeons, accumulating enough tokens to upgrade only one or two pieces of equipment. To assemble a complete set of gear for a specific build, they often need to grind intensively for several consecutive days. Even skilled players with efficient farming routes find that the total amount of currency generated from solo farming is insufficient to support the crafting of complete gear. Selling maps and dismantling equipment for currency requires spending a significant amount of time monitoring the trading market, drastically reducing the time available to experience the new league's storyline and deep-sea gameplay.

Meanwhile, PoE 2 Patch 0.5 still boasts a large and active player base. This league reduced the currency drop bonus in groups, significantly decreasing the efficiency of resource acquisition during solo farming. Rune crafting, gear corruption, and endgame boss entry items all rely on core currency. The high cost of building popular builds means that players need to accumulate large amounts of currency to create multiple sets of gear for pushing higher difficulty levels and farming maps. Players juggling the new league of Path of Exile and the endgame content of Path of Exile need to farm two completely separate sets of currency, doubling the grind and creating a significant burden on gameplay, making it difficult to balance progress in both areas.
Most general game marketplaces focus on only one league of currency, resulting in unstable supply and incomplete product categories. POECurrency.com, however, specializes in trading all Path of Exile currency sets, specifically stocking up for the 3.29 new league, fully covering all essential currencies. It also maintains a full inventory of Path of Exile 2 0.5 trading currencies, crafting materials, and rune materials, with separate warehouses for both leagues, ensuring ample stock and no shortages.
